REGISTRATION

Online registration is highly recommended. Please note that caissachess.net tournament management software is used only for registration. Other Information such as bye requests, standings and pairings can be found on Chessroster.com (Old SwissSys) closer to the tournament date.  

Onsite Registration closes at 2:30 PM on 8/15. Quads are formed at that point. 

Please do not wait until the last minute to register.

ELIGIBILITY:

Both adults and young players can play in the quads. 

SECTIONS:

Players are placed into groups of 4 by their published August 2026 US Chess rating.

The last group may have more than 4 but less than 8 players. In that case, the last group will have a mini-swiss tournament.

Everyone will play 3 games in their quad.

Since players are grouped by their skill level, it ensures a close match up.

TIME CONTROL:

All 3 Games G/45

SCHEDULE:

The first round starts at 3 PM. Subsequent rounds as soon as possible.

BYES:

No byes are allowed

PRIZES

The winner of each quad gets a prize of $144. A winner with a perfect score of 3-0 gets $160.

ENTRY FEE

$60 by 8/12, 

$70 on or after 8/13
