REGISTRATION

Online registration is highly recommended. Please note that caissachess.net tournament management software is used only for registration. Other Information such as bye requests, standings and pairings can be found on Chessroster.com (Old SwissSys) closer to the tournament date.  

Onsite Registration closes at 6 PM on 8/14  (after that players may register with a half-point bye)

Premier (FIDE), 

Intermediate(FIDE), 

Novice (USCF Rated)

ELIGIBILITY

Players with a FIDE rating of 1900 or higher are eligible to play in the Premier section.

Players with a FIDE rating between 1500 and 1899 are eligible to play in the Intermediate section.

Players with a FIDE rating less than 1500 or those with no FIDE rating are eligible to play in the Novice section.

SCHEDULE and TIME CONTROL:

Schedule: 8/14 at 7:00 PM, 8/15 at 10 AM and 4 PM, 8/16 at 9 AM and 3 PM. 

All games are G/90;+30

Forfeit Time (All Sections): 60 minutes

BYES

Up to two irrevocable half-point byes allowed. ½ point byes can be requested until 9 AM on 8/15. 

Afterwards, only 0-point byes are allowed.

A first round bye must be requested by 6 PM on 8/14

ENTRY FEE

Premier and Intermediate: $150 by 8/2, $175 by 8/12, $200 on/after 8/13

Novice:  $105 by 8/2, $120 by 8/12, $140 on/after 8/13

All entry fee deadlines are in EST. Please select the correct entry fee option for your section while registering. 

Free entry and no prize deductions for GMs/IMs/WGMs/WIMs if committed by 8/2. 

After 8/2, free entry but $150 deducted from prizes.

Must play all 5 rounds. No byes or tournament withdrawal allowed.
