The Atlantic Chess Association is happy to celebrate the 250th Independence Day of the United States!

We are offering a USCF-rated scholastic tournament free of cost to all participants. 

The venue has a capacity of 60 players. Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis and will close once the 60 player limit is reached. Please email us to get added to the wait-list.

Please note that the hotel offers FREE parking during the day and a FREE shuttle to/from the terminal every 15 mins. It is conveniently located on the Silver line Metro station. Players can use Washington Dulles Airport road (NO TOLL) to reach the venue.

REGISTRATION

Online registration is highly recommended. Please note that caissachess.net tournament management software is used only for registration. Other Information such as bye requests, standings and pairings can be found on Chessroster.com (Old SwissSys) closer to the tournament date.  

SECTIONS

There is only one section - Scholastic.

4 Rounds Swiss. 

Accelerated Swiss pairings for the first two rounds and Regular Swiss pairings for the next two rounds.

SCHEDULE

The first round starts at 10:00 AM and subsequent rounds occur as soon as possible.

TIME CONTROL 

All games are G/25;d5  

PRIZES

Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers.
